How to test the copper content of CCA wire

Author: Stephen Xie     Publish Time: 13-08-2019      Origin: Site

Physical method:

  1. Physical method takes the sample mass,

  2. then measures the volume, finds the average density,

  3. and finally uses the density of copper, the density of aluminum

  4. and the average density to cross-cross to determine the copper content.

Chemical method:

  1. After taking the sample weighing quality by chemical method,

  2. put a sufficient amount of concentrated nitric acid,

  3. and pass the generated gas into the water.

  4. Finally, measure the volume of nitric oxide,

  5. and calculate the copper content by conversion.
