Hybrid Optical Fiber and Electrical Cable PSP Armored for

Distributed Base Station

PDF download

 Introduction:

Single-mode or multimode fibers are housed in loose tubes that are made of high modulus plastic and filled with tube filiing compund,In the center of cable is a metallic strength member,The tubes and copper wires are stranded around the central strength member to form a cable core. The core is filled with cable filling compound and armored with Corrugated steel tapes. Finally, PE Outer sheath is extruded.

 Features:

  • Accurate process control ensuring good mechanical and temperature performances.

  • Optical and electrical hybrid design, solving the problem of power supply and signal transmission.

  • Providing manageability of power and reducing coordination and maintenance of power supply.

  • Reduing procurement costs and saving construction costs.

  • Mainly  used to connect BBU,RRU in DC remote power supply system for distributed base station.

  • Applicable to Duct aerial installation.

 Product Series:

  • Hybrid Optical and Electrical Cables for Access Networks:

· GDTC8S:

Type: Self-supporting aerial cable with PSP (Plastic-Supported Steel Tape)

Application: Suitable for aerial installation in access networks, providing both optical and electrical capabilities with enhanced mechanical strength.

· GDTA53:

Type: Buried installation cable

Application: Designed for buried installation, ensuring robust protection for both optical and electrical components, ideal for underground or direct burial use.

· GDTA, GDTS:

Type: Duct or aerial installation

Application: These cables are optimized for both ducted and aerial installations, offering flexibility for deployment in different environments.

  • Hybrid Optical Cables for Wireless RRU (Remote Radio Unit):

GDFJAH:

Type: Hybrid optical fiber and electrical cable with APL (Aerial Plastic-Lined) LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath

Application: Designed for wireless RRU systems, this cable combines optical fibers for high-speed data transmission with electrical conductors for power delivery, with an LSZH sheath for safety.

GDFJAHP:

Type: Hybrid optical fiber and electrical cable with APL LSZH sheath

Application: Similar to GDFJAH, but this version may have additional or slightly different mechanical properties tailored for specific RRU installations.

GJYFJH:

Type: Sub-unit cable with Aramid yarn and LSZH sheath

Application: This cable provides high tensile strength and durability, making it suitable for installations where safety and reliability are key, with a focus on protecting the fibers and electrical components.

GJYWFJH:

Type: TBF (Toughened Fiber) cable with Aramid yarn and LSZH sheath

Application: Similar to GJYFJH, but offering additional toughness, providing further protection for fiber optic cables in harsh environments.

GJYXFH:

Type: Multi-core cable with Aramid yarn and double sheath

Application: Designed for high-density fiber optic networks, this cable uses double sheaths for enhanced protection against environmental factors.

  • Steel Hose Hybrid Optical and Electrical Cable:

· GDFJH:

Type: Hybrid optical and electrical cable with steel hose

Application: This cable features a steel hose for added mechanical protection, making it highly durable and suitable for environments with high mechanical stress.
