Purchase Questions
What information should I send before requesting a quotation?
Please send the product name or cable type, specification, quantity, destination country, required standard, packing method and target delivery time.
For cable products, it is helpful to include conductor size, fiber count, cable structure, jacket material, voltage or fire rating, shielding requirement, printing requirement and application scenario.
Buyer note: A complete RFQ helps ZION quote faster and reduces repeated confirmation before PI.
Can I request a sample before bulk order?
Yes. ZION can provide samples for most standard cable and connectivity products after the specification is confirmed.
For customized products, ZION will first check material availability, cable structure feasibility and sample preparation time before confirming the sample plan.
Buyer note: Please provide sample length, quantity, destination address, test purpose and any document requirements.
Does ZION provide free samples?
Yes. Sample cost can be waived for many standard products when stock or regular production material is available.
For long sample lengths, customized cables, special materials or high-value items, the sample cost and freight will be confirmed separately before arrangement.
Buyer note: If the sample is for a project, please share the application and required standard so ZION can prepare the right product.
What is the MOQ?
MOQ is confirmed by exact product and specification. Standard products usually allow lower trial quantities, while customized cable or private label orders require a higher MOQ.
MOQ may be affected by raw material, jacket color, printing, packing, production setup and whether the product is a regular model.
Buyer note: Send the model, specification and expected quantity. ZION will confirm a practical MOQ for that item.
What affects product price?
Product price is mainly affected by specification, conductor or fiber count, raw material, shielding, jacket material, fire rating, quantity, packing, printing, certificates and delivery terms.
For cable products, small changes in copper size, fiber count, sheath material or flame rating can change the cost significantly.
Buyer note: For accurate pricing, please avoid requesting price only by product name. A clear specification is needed.
Can ZION make custom cables?
Yes. ZION supports OEM and ODM cable customization for suitable cable and connectivity products.
Customization can include cable structure, conductor size, fiber count, shielding, jacket material, color, printing, label, reel, carton, pallet and private brand packing.
Buyer note: Please provide drawings, datasheets, photos, reference samples or target standards when available.
What should I provide for a custom cable request?
Please provide the cable structure, size, material, core or fiber count, shielding, jacket, color, marking, packing, application environment and required standard.
If you already have a reference cable, datasheet, drawing or sample photo, ZION can review the requirement more quickly.
Buyer note: For special projects, application information is important because cable design must match installation and compliance requirements.
Can ZION print my brand or part number on the cable?
Yes. ZION can print customer brand, part number, specification, meter mark, standard information or project code on the cable jacket.
Printing can also be applied to labels, reels, cartons and pallets according to the agreed artwork and order condition.
Buyer note: Please provide the exact printing text, logo file, language, color requirement and layout before production confirmation.
Can I request private label or OEM packaging?
Yes. ZION supports private label and OEM packaging for distributors, project suppliers and brand customers.
Available options can include customized cable printing, labels, cartons, reels, wooden drums, pallets, barcode labels and shipping marks.
Buyer note: Private label packing should be confirmed before quotation because it may affect cost, MOQ and lead time.
What packaging options does ZION provide?
ZION can provide rolls, plastic spools, wooden spools, wooden drums, cartons and pallets according to product type and shipping requirements.
Packing can be arranged for retail supply, distributor inventory, project delivery or bulk shipment.
Buyer note: Please confirm packing method before quotation because it affects cost, loading quantity and freight.
What is the usual lead time?
For standard products, the usual lead time is around 14 days after order confirmation and deposit.
For customized cable, OEM packing or non-standard products, lead time is usually within 30 days, depending on material preparation, sample approval, production schedule and packing requirements.
Buyer note: Please confirm the required delivery date before placing the order, especially for project or tender orders.
Can ZION support urgent orders?
Yes. ZION can support urgent orders when stock, raw materials or production capacity are available.
For urgent cases, ZION will check material status, production schedule, packing requirements and shipping options first, then provide the fastest workable plan.
Buyer note: Please clearly mark the required delivery date and destination when sending the RFQ.
What payment terms are available?
For new customers, ZION usually works with advance payment and balance payment by T/T, L/C at sight or D/P at sight.
For long-term cooperation, L/C 30/60/90 days or O/A may be reviewed based on cooperation history, order value and export credit insurance approval.
Buyer note: Final payment terms should be confirmed with the sales manager before PI confirmation.
Can ZION arrange shipment or work with my forwarder?
Yes. ZION can help coordinate shipment according to the agreed trade term, or work with the buyer's appointed forwarder.
Before shipment, the buyer should confirm destination, consignee details, packing method, shipping marks and required documents.
Buyer note: If you already have a forwarder in China, please provide the contact information before goods are ready.
Can ZION support phased delivery?
Yes. ZION can support phased delivery for project orders, large-quantity orders and distributor replenishment plans.
The delivery schedule should be confirmed before production so materials, packing and shipment can be arranged properly.
Buyer note: Please provide total quantity, batch quantity, expected delivery dates and destination for each shipment.
What documents can ZION provide before or after order?
ZION can provide product datasheets, technical specifications, test reports, certificates, packing lists, commercial invoices and other export documents according to product and order requirements.
For project or tender orders, please send the required document list before quotation or PI confirmation.
Buyer note: Certificate availability depends on product category and exact model, so it should be confirmed before order confirmation.
What should I confirm before production starts?
Before production, please confirm the final specification, quantity, cable marking, label, packing, color, standard, payment terms, delivery schedule and shipping information.
For customized orders, artwork, sample approval or technical drawings should also be confirmed before mass production.
Buyer note: Changes after production starts may affect cost, lead time and delivery arrangement.
What should I confirm before shipment?
Before shipment, please confirm product quantity, packing details, shipping marks, labels, destination address, consignee information, documents and shipment method.
For project orders, please also check whether batch delivery, pallet marking or warehouse receiving requirements are needed.
Buyer note: Clear shipment confirmation helps avoid customs, warehouse and delivery problems.
What should I do if there is a quality issue after receiving goods?
Please contact ZION Sales Support and provide clear photos, videos, product labels, carton marks, batch information and a description of the issue.
If needed, ZION may ask for returned samples for comparison with retained production samples and quality records.
Buyer note: Please keep the original product labels, cartons and samples before the issue is reviewed.
Can distributors work with ZION for repeated orders?
Yes. ZION supports distributors with repeated orders, product line planning, private label packing, regular replenishment and project supply support.
For stable cooperation, ZION can help review priority product categories, packing formats, stock planning and delivery schedules.
