From alarm sensors to control panel wiring
A burglar alarm project normally includes perimeter contacts, motion detectors, glass-break sensors, panic buttons, keypads, sirens, strobes and the alarm control panel. Cable selection should separate low-current signal circuits from auxiliary power or sounder circuits, then confirm shielding, core count, jacket type, installation route and labeling before procurement.
- Devices: door contacts, window contacts, PIR sensors, glass-break detectors, keypads, sounders and alarm panels.
- Zones: perimeter doors, windows, corridors, warehouses, retail areas, equipment rooms and control rooms.
- Cable types: shielded alarm cable, unshielded alarm cable, mylar-screened signal cable and related low-voltage security cable.
- Procurement flow: zone schedule, product matching, sample or datasheet check, packing confirmation and RFQ closure.
