MPO (Multi-Fiber Push-On) jumpers are pre-terminated multi-fiber patch cords with high-density data center, enterprise network, network central offices, and speed backbone system applications that deliver plug-and-play connectivity.
Typically, MPO cables house 12, 24, or more fibers into a single connector, which means minimal space or room is needed for installation yet with aggressive rollout in modular systems like MTP cassettes, panels, and transceivers.
Looking at the indoor fiber cables catalog above (Indarmjuft Curtain, pp. 22–24), there are three core types of MPO jumpers:
MPO-MPO straight-through connection
Coming with 12, 24, or 48 fibers
Anatomical (depicting male/female) coupleths for vessel alignment pins
Single mode (according to G.657.A1/A2) or multimode (OM3/4 from DC)
The cable consists of LSZH jacket enclosing the structure round one.
