Flat-shape & Self-supporting Uni-tube Fiber Optic Cable for
Networks in Rural Areas Vast Countryside
Optical fibers are housed in a loose tube of high-modulus plastic and filled with tube-filling compounds.
Two glass fiber-reinforced plastic(FRP)rods are placed outside the tube in parallel, and water-blocking yarns are placed between the tube and the rods,
then, a flat-shaped PE sheath is extruded.
In the distribution segment of optical networks in rural areas, the cable can be used as drop cables for self-supporting aerial installation to
connect branching points with access points for subscribers.
Accurate process control ensures good mechanical and temperature performances
Unique flat shape providing excellent crush resistance, applicable to special wedge clamps for installation
Two FRP strength members in parallel close to the tube, easy for stripping
All-dielectric design, applicable to lightning-prone areas
Uni-tube, small size and lightweight, easy for installation
· GYTA / GYTSType: Stranded Loose Tube
o GYTA: Stranded loose tube with aramid yarn or other strength members. Typically used for long-distance transmission, with good protection against external environmental factors.
o GYTS: Similar to GYTA, but typically with a stronger sheath material for outdoor or more rugged applications.
2. Distribution Segment
GYAXZY
Type: Uni-tube Aramid LSZH Sheath
Description: Single-tube design with aramid yarn for strength and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) sheath, ideal for environments that require minimal smoke emission in case of fire.
GYGXZY
Type: Uni-tube Glass Yarn PE Sheath
Description: Uni-tube structure with glass yarn for additional protection and a polyethylene (PE) sheath. Suitable for medium-distance applications, offering good mechanical protection.
GTJGA
Type: Slotted TBF APL CSM
Description: Slotted design with aluminum-polymer laminate (APL) and composite sheath material (CSM), typically used for specific, more demanding outdoor or industrial applications.
GYFXBY
Type: Flat-shape & Self-supporting Uni-tube
Description: Flat shape for easy installation, especially in tight spaces. Self-supporting uni-tube for simplified deployment.
GYAXTC8Y
Type: Figure-8 Self-supporting Uni-tube Aramid
Description: A figure-8 design that supports aerial installation without additional messenger cables, equipped with aramid yarn for strength.
GYFC8A-3U
Type: 3-Unit FRP APL Figure-8 Self-supporting
Description: 3-unit structure designed with Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) for high mechanical protection. This type is used for long-distance, self-supporting aerial installations.
3. Drop Segment
· GJXH
Type: Bow-type drop cable
o Description: Bow-type drop cable design is used for last-mile connections, typically in FTTH (Fiber To The Home) applications. Known for its flexibility and ease of installation.
1. Tube Filling: Suitable water-blocking filling compound.
2. Loose Tube: thermoplastic material.
3. Optic Fiber
4. Strength Member: Glass fiber reinforced plastic rod (GFRP).
5. Water Blocking Material: water-blocking yarn.
6. Outer Sheath: black polyethylene.
· Type: Flat-shape & Self-supporting Uni-tube
· Diameter: 4.6 x 8.1 mm (3.0 mm tube)
· Weight: 35 kg/km
· Diameter of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic): 1.6 mm
· Tensile Strength:
· Long-term: 400 N
