With the development of telecom communication, Network became one part of our life gradually.More and more optical fibers cables were used in our usual life.

Fiber optic cable can very quickly deliver enormous amounts of information almost anywhere in the world.

optical cable television will be an important element in people's daily life, and the second largest support industry compaired with the telecommunication business.

So,along with the accelerated process of social informatization, laying fiber optic cable has been giving priority to developing countries in the world as a strategic project.

Then, what is fiber optic cable? How can we select the right optical cable?

I have been engaged in the optical cable production industry for 12 years. Today summarized some options for optical cable and gave you a reference guiding for how to

select the fiber optic cable types. Welcome everyone to communicate with me and conduct more in-depth communication.

An optical fiber cable, also known as a fiber optic cable, is an assembly similar to an electrical cable, but containing one or more optical fibers that are used to carry light.

The optical fiber elements are typically individually coated with plastic layers and contained in a protective tube suitable for the environment where the cable will be deployed.

Different types of fiber optic cable [1] are used for different optical fiber applications, for example long distance telecommunicationor providing a high-speed data connection between different parts of a building.

How can we select the right optical cable types?

I will share from the structure and the application site and the recommendation index.

Structural features:Central tube cable(also called loose tube cables)

Application place:  Overhead laying

Fiber optic cable types:GYXTY(Central Tube Single Jacket Armored Cable)

Fiber Numbers:1-12 fibers

Recommended index: 3 stars

fiber optic cable types GYXTY(Central Tube Single Jacket Armored Cable)

Introduction:

Outdoor communication, metal reinforcement member, center tube, fully filled, entrained reinforcement polyethylene sheathed cable

The fibers ,250μm,are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are flled with a water-resistant filling compound.

Over the tube,water-blocking material is applied to keep the cable watertight. Two parallel steel wires are placed at the two sides .The cable is completed with a polyethylene (PE) sheath.
