When we check this design, we must ask why a CATV Amplifier Undergoes Stage 2 Attenuation, Equalization, and amplification? Why twice?
I explain each function as follows:
Input attenuation -> system operator adjusts input signal strength
Input Equalization -> System Operator Adjusts Input Signal Slope
Preamplifier -> Amplifier front very low noise amplification
Interstage attenuation -> Manufacturer adjusts internal signal strength
Interstage Equalization -> Manufacturer Adjusts Internal Signal Slope
Main amplification -> Amplifier rear high efficiency amplification
Why attenuation then amplify, the purpose is to adjust the amplifier to the best state.
The second amplification is to give the amplifier enough gain without distortion.

is an international telecommunications standard that permits the addition of high-bandwidth data transfer to an existing cable TV (CATV) system. It is employed by many cable television operators to provide Internet access (seecable Internet ) over their existing hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) infrastructure. The version numbers are sometimes prefixed with simply "D" instead of "DOCSIS" (e.g. D3 for DOCSIS 3).
