Don’t start with a model number. Start with the installation method and site risks. Use the logic below to match cable structure to duct / direct-burial conditions, biological threats, and soil pressure—so performance stays stable over the full service life.

■ Step 1 — Installation Method
Lightweight structure designed for easy pulling. Aluminum tape armor helps block moisture ingress and supports stable performance inside duct networks.
Without ducts, the cable is exposed to soil pressure, moisture migration, and biological threats. Continue with environmental risk checks.
Double-jacket and double-armored (Aluminum + Steel) construction forms a strong “bite-resistant” barrier for harsh biological environments.
If biological threats are low, the next key factor becomes soil stability and external pressure—both impact long-term attenuation risk.
Single steel-tape armor provides sufficient crush resistance for stable soil and standard direct-burial trench environments.
Rocky pressure points can trigger micro-bending and long-term attenuation. Use enhanced mechanical protection such as thicker jackets or specialized armor.
