 The Core of High-Density Optical Cabling in Modern Networks

The indoor applications for fiber optics in data centers, FTTH networks, smart buildings, and industrial automation systems are trending high-density, multi-core, and flexible deployment. Zion Communication is specializing in providing the complete portfolio of Indoor Multi-fiber Optical Distribution Cables, and these include, among others:

  • Tight-buffered Indoor Distribution Cable

  • Mini/Micro Indoor Distribution Fiber Cables

  • Breakout Indoor Cables

  • Ribbon Indoor Fiber Cable

Such cables are the basic component of backbone optical cabling, inter-device patching, the systems with MPO pre-terminated, and the networks with modular fiber distribution.

2️⃣ Mini / Micro Indoor Distribution Cable

  • Uses 250μm bare fibers or 600μm buffered fibers;

  • Diameter (smaller), weight (lighter), flexibility (more);

  • Perfectly fits MTP/MPO pre-connectorized systems;

  • Suitable for rather narrow passages (ducts or mostly used raceways);

Applications:

  • High-density data center cabling;

  • Modular connectivity systems;

  • Fiber aggregation and splitting nodes;

Mini-Micro Indoor Distribution Cable

3️⃣ Breakout Indoor Cable

  • Single fiber having jacket (2.0mm or 3.0mm) cassette fusing;

  • Directly connected with standard SC/LC connectors;

  • Hong Kong of tensity and easy to fan-out;

  • No requirement for exterior fan-out bundles or pigtails;

Applications:

  • Point-to-point links between devices;

  • Inter-floor cabling inside buildings;

  • MPO/MTP transfer of multi-core fiber;

 Breakout Indoor Cable

4️⃣ Ribbon Indoor Fiber Cable

  • The ribbon contains an alignment of 12 or 24 fibers in parallel layout essentially;

  • MPSJ solution designated for mass ribbon fan-out with ribbon splice joiners;

  • But that is not all – it increased the installation speed even for the most high-core-count cases needed to be served;

  • Agrees with the MPO/MTP interconnect systems;

Applications:

  • High-speed backbone cabling in a large building having more floors;

  • Optical path connecting core switches and the transmission process;

  • Ribbon-based MPO/MTP webpage structured cabling;
