What Is a Wall Mount Network Cabinet?
A wall mount network cabinet is an enclosed rack platform that places communication equipment above the floor while protecting switches, patch panels, fiber panels, routers, CCTV components and rack accessories. It is commonly used in branch offices, retail sites, schools, warehouses and distributed telecom locations.
ZION offers several cabinet families rather than one universal 6U–18U product. Each family has its own structure and model range, so procurement should begin with the required access method and installation conditions.

RFQ Checklist
FAQ
Which ZION wall cabinet family should I choose?
Choose a ZM single-section cabinet for straightforward front and side service, a ZWS double-section cabinet when rear access is important, CAB 400 for compact shallow installations, or the ZM Flush Mount model for a recessed wall profile.
Are 6U, 9U, 12U and 18U separate product families?
No. Rack-unit capacity is a model option within selected cabinet families. Available U height, width, depth and load rating must be confirmed against the chosen ZM, ZWS, CAB 400 or flush-mount series.
How should cabinet depth be selected?
Measure the deepest device and include connector projection, cable bend allowance, rail position and maintenance clearance. Nominal external depth is not the same as usable equipment depth.
When is a double-section wall cabinet recommended?
A double-section cabinet is useful when technicians need easier access to rear cabling or the back of installed equipment after the cabinet is mounted. Wall condition and swing clearance must also be checked.
Can the door, color and accessories be customized?
Door style, color, locks, shelves, fan modules, cable-entry parts, PDU and packaging can be reviewed during quotation according to the selected cabinet family and project quantity.
What information is required for a quotation?
Provide the preferred cabinet family, required U height, equipment depth, total installed load, door preference, accessory list, quantity and installation environment.
