With the construction of 4G networks, communication cables and equipment keep extending toward the subscribers. The power supply for equipment of remote base stations. Communication rooms and access points for subscribers have become a challenging problem. The solution of DC remote power supply by hybrid optical and electrical cables can not only facilitate centralized construction. And maintenance of power supply devices in the network also realizes the efficient cable transmission of electric energy and optical signals.
In addition to solving the problems mentioned above, the solution of DC remote power supply by hybrid optical and electrical cables can reduce construction costs. And maintenance and enhance efficiency.
DC remote power supply system consists of a central office terminal (COT) and a remote terminal (RT).The power of COT can be boosted from DC 48V to DC 220~410V(adjustable) and transmitted to RT by hybrid optical and electrical cables, and then dropped to DC 48V(DC 280V might be converted to AC220V) to supply the loads(RRU, optical fiber repeater, small micro base station, ONU, etc.).In this way, maintenance-free power is all-weather supplied.
Scenario: network with single RRU or multiple RRUs.
Applicable to the situation where RT devices are gathered at one point but far away from COT.

GDTC8S Figure-8 Steel Wire Hybrid Rope Armored Fiber Wire and Optical Cable
Hybrid cable, self-supporting, figure-8 configuration, blended optical fibers and electrical conductors. Its design includes a steel wire messenger for overhead laying, a loose tube structure for carrying fiber optic wires, and a steel tape (PSP) armored cable for protection. The polyethylene (PE) sheath, which is made of durable material, is deployed to withstand outdoor aerial applications; this implies that it is suitable for carrying both power and data.
GDTA APL Armored Hybrid Optical Fiber and Electrical Cable
This hybrid cable is a combination of optical fibers and electrical conductors in a single design, armored with aluminum tape (APL) to provide extra protection. It features a stranded loose tube for fibers and a PE sheath, to be used under duct or direct burial installations where the demands are low to medium weight armor and corrosion resistance.
GDTS PSP Armored Hybrid Optical Fiber and Electrical Cable
A hybrid cable whereby optical and electric components are integrated; this comes with a stranded loose tube design and steel tape (PSP) armor. PE sheathing, which offers strength, is designed for outdoor use, such as underground cables or direct burial, where a higher mechanical protection level is needed than provided by aluminum armor.
GDTA53 Double Sheath APL-PSP Armored Hybrid Rope and Optical Cable
An innovative hybrid cable type with dual-layer security; APL and PSP armoring, additionally double PE sheath. The fibers are accommodated in a stranded loose tube design, which is reinforced to deal with rugged conditions like direct burial or heavy-duty duct installations. Thus, this design allows for the greatest possible protection against water and physical damage.

GDTC8S Figure-8 stands out for aerial deployments due to its self-supporting steel wire messenger and figure-8 design, ideal for combining power and data over long spans.
GDTA offers a lightweight option with aluminum armor, suitable for less demanding environments like ducts or direct burial.
GDTS provides a stronger alternative to GDTA with steel tape armor, enhancing mechanical protection for similar applications.
GDTA53 is the most robust, with dual armor and double sheathing, making it the top choice for extreme conditions requiring maximum durability.
GDFJAH APL Armored LSZH Sheath Hybrid Optical Fiber Sub-unit and Electrical Cable
The hybrid cable has an integrated optical fiber subunit and electrical conductors; it is also armored with aluminum tape (APL) outside for protection and a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) sheath inside for safety in indoor environments. It is created to convey power and data simultaneously in locations where resistance to fire and smoke explosion is required.
GJYFJH Sub-unit Aramid Yarn LSZH Sheath Fiber Optic Cable
A light-duty fiber optic cable with multiple superimposed unit tight-buffers, which are reinforced with aramid yarns and protected by a jacket made of LSZH (low smoke zero-hazardous cable). This cable can be deployed indoors and outdoors where flexibility and fire safety are primary objectives and armored cables are not an option.
GJYWFJH Tight-Buffered Fiber with Aramid LSZH Sheath Fiber Optic Cable
This cable consists of tightly buffered optical fiber, aramid yarn utilized for extra strength, and the LSZH jacketing. The form factor of this product is such that it is well suited for indoor applications in the form of patch cords or connections of short distance; here the emphasis is on the flexibility and safety in the fire hazard areas.
GJYXFH Multi-core Fibers Aramid Yarns Double Sheath Optic Cable
Utilizing multiple-core tightly-buffered fibers, this cable has an increased strength with aramid yarns and excellent durability with double LSZH sheath. It is effective where indoor/outdoor applications require a high concentration of fiber and considerable environmental stress to be overcome.
GDFJH Hybrid Optical and Electrical with Steel Hose Fiber Optic Cable
This cable type, featuring optical fibers and electrical conductors, has a housing of a steel hose (flexible metal conduit) and an LSZH sheath. Devising it for rough environments where firm mechanical protection is required, it can be adequate for industrial applications or outdoor settings with the aim of safety in fire.
